This week’s highlight comes to us from Tennessee. Matthew Mann, the owner of Southlake RV Park, uses knowledge from his engineering background to run his campground. For him, it’s all about process. If you can get that right, you’re well on your way to creating a standout business.
This month, Bonfire is highlighting Carol and John, the owners of Whispering Creek Lodging & RV Park, located just behind the “Piney Curtain” around Newton, Texas. Carol and John want all their guests to feel like they’re in the comfort of their own home. Whether it’s a friendly chat over a morning coffee or an extra set of hands to help clean a rig, the owners of the 15-year-old park want you to know that the “Whispering Way” means going the extra mile.
As most park and campground owners know, the camping industry is one big family. And as such, people come in and out of our family each year. Part of our focus at Bonfire is to promote new ideas and efficient operations. Additionally, we would like to introduce new campground owners and share their story with like-minded enthusiasts.
